Formula & correlation notes
- Wagner saturation (IAPWS): ln(p/pc) = (Tc/T)·(a₁τ + a₂τ^1.5 + a₃τ³ + a₄τ^3.5 + a₅τ⁴ + a₆τ^7.5), τ = 1 − T/Tc
- Ideal gas for vg: vg ≈ R·T/p; ρg = 1/vg
- Watson latent heat: hfg(T) = hfg,ref·[(1−T/Tc)/(1−Tref/Tc)]^0.38
- hg: hg ≈ cp,g·T + h₀ (2676 kJ/kg at 100 °C); hf=hg−hfg
- sg: sg ≈ cp,g·ln(T/Tref) − R·ln(p/pref) + sg,ref; sfg=hfg/T; sf=sg−sfg
- Liquid ρf: Kell (≤100 °C) + smooth fit above 100 °C; vf=1/ρf.
